Robin Thicke's father, actor and musician Alan Thicke, has died. Thicke, who starred on the hit 80s sitcom Growing Pains and wrote music for television, passed away on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack while playing hockey with his youngest son, who is 19.
The Real Husbands of Hollywood star's publicist confirmed the tragic news to the Los Angeles Times. Thicke's death appeared to be sudden, and another source says Robin rushed to be at his father's side when he was admitted to the hospital earlier today.
