Kidnappers Of Governor Yahaya Bello’s Mother Arrested


The five suspected abductors of the mother of Kogi state governor, Yahaya bello were arrested and paraded on Tuesday.
The suspects names are:  Iliyasu Suleiman Danjuma Ibrahim 44, Iliyasu Obadaki, 26, Alhaji Nasiru, 35  and Hafiz Yakubu, 43.
The governor’s mother, Hajia Hawawu Bello was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in in Uvete, Adavi local government area of Kogi on May 29, 2014.

The alleged Kidnappers were caught with items such as two AK 47 rifles; 20 live cartridges; one army camouflage inner wear; two army camouflage pair of trousers and two army camouflage caps.
Other items include:  one black Beretta; two plastic guns; three sharp knives and one axe.
The Force Spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, disclosed this at a press conference on Tuesday in Abuja.
Moshood added the suspects had confessed to the kidnapping of the governor’s mother and other robberies in FCT, Kogi and Niger.
The spokesman also added the other members of the kidnap gang are still at large but assured that they will soon be caught
