What Usain Bolt told me after I beat him in his last race – Justin Gatlin

American track and Sprinter, Justin Gatlin has revealed that Usain bolt was gracious enough, after he defeated the Jamaican in 100m final in London.

The London crowd booed Gatlin each time he appeared before the crowd, only to stun their favorite in the final.

Gatlin said,

“It’s just so surreal right now.

“Usain has accomplished so much in our sport and inspired others like Coleman to come out and compete in the championships.

“Usain said ‘congratulations, you deserve it.’ And that’s from the man himself. He said ‘you don’t deserve these boos’. He knows how hard I work. Tonight was all about the W (the win) and I managed to sneak it,” Gatlin said after shushing the crowd.
