Popular Afro-pop singer, Wizkid whose latest work an EP titled ‘Sounds from the other side’ was released on Friday, July 14, just two days to his 27th birthday has made some clarification about the work.
The singer who has several international collaborations to boast of while having an interview with Ibrahim Darden, an American radio personality said that he felt like making a ‘little record’ and not an album.
Wizkid was in a way trying to make it clear to everyone ones and for all that his SFTOS was just an EP and not an album as it had been reported by most journalists.
The musician said;
“It’s like a collaboration. Everyone calls it an album, but it’s like an EP.“Because it wasn’t like… When I decided to make it like a little record, a friend of mine came into the room with a business partner of his when I was recording, heard the music and said, are you about to put this out for free? They were like hell no. He was like yo, I’m putting my money behind that.”
